PhD students Raimund Schneider and Anton Classen win SAOT student awards

Raimund Schneider and Anton Classen, both Ph.D. students in our group, have won the SAOT Student Awards 2018 in Computational Optics and Optical Metrology, respectively. The prize in Computational Optics is awarded to Raimund for his contribution Quantum imaging with incoherently scattered light from a free-electron laser (Nature Physics 14, 126-129, 2018) and the prize in Optical Metrology is awarded to Anton for his contribution Incoherent Diffractive Imaging via Intensity Correlations of Hard X Rays (Phys. Rev. Lett. 119, 053401, 2017). The prizes and the prize money (1000€) were handed out at the occasion of the SAOT Young Researcher’s Award Ceremony which has taken place on July 20, 2018.
